This isn’t your normal Sunday-afternoon-joy-riding SL cruiser. This is a beast and it is only meant to roll out of it’s garage to do one thing, and that’s go fast. The SL65 Black Series will be powered by a six-liter twin turbo V12 that produces 661 horsepower which is actually 11hp more than the SLR 722. The SL65 Black Edition also sees some weight reduction with the use of carbon fiber throughout the body and replacing of the heavier convertible roof system with a fixed roof. Additionally, this edition comes equipped with much needed features to keep this thing on the road, including: adjustable suspension, wider track, larger brakes, and a retractable spoiler.
